According to Amazon, the WatchESPN app is now available for Kindle Fire Android devices such as Fire HD 8.9” 4G LTE Wireless, Fire HD 8.9”, Fire HD and Fire.
Matt Murphy, senior vice president of ESPN’s Digital Video Distribution said that “tablets are a growing platform for video usage, and our goal has always been serving sports fans wherever they consume content.”
Besides Amazon, it is also available in in Google Play.
ESPN video subscribers from an affiliated provider can have their live access to various shows from ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3 and ESPN Goal Line/Buzzer Beater anywhere on the go.
Comcast Xfinity TV, Midcontinent Communications, Cablevision and Cox Communications, Time Warner Cable, Bright House Networks and Verizon FiOS TV are among the networks that are supported by the WatchESPN.
